The Club has two well-maintained snooker tables and a pool table which are available for play between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 11.30 p.m.
Snooker
The Snooker Room
We have two snooker teams in the Preston & District Snooker League playing on Wednesday nights during the winter from September to March. Broughton 'A' is in the first division and Broughton 'B' is in the fourth division. Division 1 is a good standard with semi-professionals playing for some Clubs. Each team consists of six players and within a match each player plays a single game. Both teams are struggling for players so any new members would be welcome.
There is no set night for team practice, although Monday and Tuesday nights tend to be the most popular with several members.
Although the Club subscription allows a member to use the snooker and pool facilities, those who wish to play in teams or have a vote on Snooker Section affairs need to register as Snooker Section members.
Pool
The Front Lounge with pool table
The Club has a pool table which is also open for play between the hours of 9.30 a.m. until the bar closes. The cost per game is 40p (in the form of two 20p coins).
